Our Story
Based in Singapore and Trusted Across the Region
Scientific & Industrial Instrumentation Pte. Ltd. (SII) was established in Singapore in 1975, at a time when the country was making its earliest, most deliberate moves up the industrial value chain — from light assembly into precision manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, and electronics. The founders saw a need that has only grown with time: industries operating to international standards need measurement and calibration that can be certified, traced, and trusted.
Five decades later, SII operates the SIICAL calibration laboratory in Singapore, represents some of the most respected names in industrial instrumentation, and supports customers across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and New Zealand. Through our parent group, Supratechnic SII, we are also connected to clean-air (Suprayi · IQAir) and marine (Supratechnic — Honda Marine, Mercury, Seafirst, Multiflex, etc) businesses, giving our customers a single point of contact across multiple disciplines.
What has not changed since 1975 is the standard. We supply the instruments your auditors recognise. We calibrate them in a laboratory we run ourselves. And we install, commission, and service them with engineers who understand both the instrument and the application.

A working laboratory, not a brochure
SIICAL — our in-house calibration laboratory — is staffed by SII engineers and equipped to reference-standard level: Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRTs), the Fluke Super-Thermometer, HP3458A multimeter, Kambic KK-105 CH temperature chamber, Humor 20 humidity calibrator and Thunder Scientific 2500 benchtop humidity generator. We don't outsource the calibration our customers depend on. We perform it.

Auditors and validation teams ask for specific instruments by name: Ellab E-Val Pro, IGD MK8, LogiCO2 Mk10, Dynament sensors. SII supplies them in the region as the appointed local partner — and we install, commission, calibrate, and service every one of them. That is the difference between a reseller and a specialist.
